Join us for the first talk in this year’s Heritage Skills Association Winter Warmer Series.
Using the Lindsay Street Flour Mill and Bakery
Complex project as a case study, DAR Studio explores the idea that heritage is fundamentally about respect.
Through project stories, challenges, and lessons
learned, the talk examines how heritage value is
understood through evidence, cultural significance,
material authenticity, and respect for place, rather
than personal taste or opinion.
Attendees will gain insight into conservation practice
and the architect’s role in caring for places that are
part of a much longer story than ours.
Dates: Wednesday 29 July 2026
Time: 6pm to 7.30pm
