It is on again! Save the date 31st October. Uncover what lies beneath at this year’s Southwest Heritage Festival!


Join us for ‘Underground’ as we dive deep into the ancient history, local culture, and rich soil of our region. Here is what's on the schedule:


​🗣️ Wadandi Culture & Caves | Traditional Custodian Zac Webb & archaeologist Joe Dortch explore the speleological marvels of Devils Lair.


🌱 Soil to Supper | Bill Bunbury hosts a panel of agricultural leaders exploring regional history—from dairy to viticulture.


🛠️ Heritage Skills| Yolanda Cool from the Heritage Skills Association will take us into the history of building skills in the area and conversations with community in caring for these places. Featuring a live stonemasonry demo & workshop by Bec Wiley.

Doors open 10:30 AM (tea/coffee provided) | Welcome by Zac Webb at 11:00 AM
