HSA is Official!

Updated: Jan 22, 2021

Western Australia has officially formed a Heritage Skills Association WA Inc. (HSA). Incorporating the Heritage Skills Academy, that has a focus on the transferring of artisan skills into the local community. Interaction with key stakeholders in industry, education, community groups and government has occurred, and the Board of HSA look forward to deepening these relationships. The key stakeholders are connected and on board.

We are looking forward to testing the education model, with a pilot project. Partnerships have been formed and a building secured, to trial and implement an inter-generational project-based model.

Heritage Skills Association sees this as an important step forward to accredited heritage skills training in WA.
